I am writing to you on behalf of the Johns Hopkins University chapter of the Association for India's Development (AID-JHU) - a voluntary non-profit organization committed to promoting sustainable, equitable and just development in India, by working with grassroots organizations and movements in India. AID supports and initiates efforts in various interconnected spheres such as education, livelihood, natural resources, health, women's empowerment and social justice.

On behalf of AID-JHU, I would like to bring to your attention our web-based year-end fundraiser called "ONE FOR INDIA (OFI) - Making Every One Count".OFI aims at utilizing the power of the web to bring people together for a common cause - holistic development of India. It aims at mobilizing the local Indian community to contribute their money, effort, time, and resources generously towards India'sdevelopment. Our target is to raise $80,000 through this drive that will run from Nov 15, 2003 through January 15, 2004. Take a Stand Against the Madness; Stop the RIAA! The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) is on a rampage, launching legal attacks against average Americans from coast to coast.
