Dear Jaal,
My heartburn has been cured a great deal after reading the article of Mr V Sudarshan (Jaroor Ye dil Mange more) but no more such dismal performances from our wonderful (?) Indian cricket team. The various sponsors illustrated so colourfully would do better to sponsor our poor heroes of Kargil and not the 0's of Old Trafford blah blah blah! May we keep getting more such articles in the future and thus keep our spirits high here.

The G-8 countries, after their meeting in Cologne, Germany, have announced their plan of "intervention" in India's nuclear & missile programmes. India's national security demands that it take steps to proactively disarm and, if necessary, destroy, the G-8 countries. I have prescribed the economic and other measures that will enable India to do so (see my letter dated October 15, 1998, with its Postscripts through February 2, 1999).
The Indian government needs to state clearly whether it has at present the means to take deterrent and retaliatory action against each of the G-8 countries if they intervene in India. These means must include the ability to deliver nuclear weapons to targets in each of the G-8 countries.
